BA (hons) Art and Design 1990
Diploma in Counselling Waverley Abbey College 2003 – 2005 Waverley Abbey House, Farnham.
Level 5 Diploma in Counselling Supervision 2011 Barnabas Counselling Training, Brentwood.
Advanced Diploma in Parks Inner Child Therapy 2013 Penny Parks Foundation
Level 5 Certificate in Creative Interventions 2014 Barnabas Counselling Training
Enneagram Teacher, Panel Facilitator and Typing Practitioner 2016 – 2021 Enneagram UK
Certificate in Online & Telephone Counselling – Counselling Tutor 2020
My first counselling placement was in 2003 and I have been working with clients ever since.
After qualifying I worked for two local counselling charities gaining experience and developing the vision for a local counselling service. I was fortunate to be involved in the establishment of Tonbridge Counselling Service and for the last several years I have been kept busy leading and managing this local service. I have tutored on many counselling training courses from beginners to fully qualified. This experience has given me an extensive understanding of the many different reasons why people seek counselling, as well as professional insight into which areas my skills are most effective. Although I have been involved in many aspects of the counselling profession, working with individuals has remained a central focus to everything I do.
When I am not working, I love to foster creativity of thought and action, and to find resonance with other people and things. This finds expression in the arts & crafts, walking and the outdoors.
